Question: Thanks for the reply. My free account stuff works, but my bounus stuff "included" with my DSL membership doesn't. I'm just trying to figgure out how to make them see it's their fault, not mine.

I understand if this is straying from your area, unless you know how to manipulate the big corporations.

Question -
My Outlook 2002 quit accessing my mail last month, after my DSL was turned back on after some billing issues.

When I attempt to "Send/Recieve" it pops up a window that asks for my name and password. It has been stored on my computer and worked before the disconnect. I have re-entered them to be sure.

I truely blame SBC for this problem but those boneheads say the fault is my home network, because the name and password window is titled "Enter Network Password." They are trying to say that exact phrase is a request from on my home network with a Microsoft router connected to a DSL modem. They say if it was the SBC/Yahoo request, the title would be someting else.

How can we make sure the fault is not my own?

Thanks,

Jeff

Answer -
I see that you have had the "joy" of working with the "briliant" engineers of SBC. Ok enough sarcasim. If your account is something@sbcglobal.net you should be able to check it online at yahoo.com. If that let's you in then it might be a problem on your end. If the account doesn't work then they might have deleted the account and it's their fault.
Answer: I have had to deal with them on many occasions. First try getting a different rep. Next we will have to prove each piece. When you say that you have a working free account is that like a yahoo.com email or hotmail or do you have a pop3 account that you use Outlook for? Also let me know specifically what "bonus stuff" doesn't work. I can walk you through testing anything mail related. I do need to know specifics.
