|
Question: Hi,
I am running Windows 2000 Server Software
I need to change the password in the Server Services to match the password I changed the network to-- I don't know how. When I go into the Computer Management Console I can right click on all the services and they are all being Logged On by the Local System. When I go to each Logon tab they all have Local System account checked and down where it says Hardware profile it says "Profile 1"
Do you know how I would change the password for the services? I am guessing I can just change it in the profile instead of each service? If so, how would I do that?
Thanks
Answer: You cannot globally change a password. You have to go to each service. If it says that it is using the local system account then you do not need to change it. |
