Windows cannot stop non-windows DHCP server from giving out addresses. Actually I once had an XP machine that kept turning on ICS and handing out addresses by itself. But officially Windows only controls windows DHCP servers in it's domain. Windows DHCP servers won't start if they detect another DHCP server on the network. |
