Question: Dear expert,
We're transferring our company location to a new location, and as an expertise I'd like to know your advice and recommendations for things that should be taken in account regarding the IT department. Thanks.

Answer: Your IP address will undoubtably change as you get a new line so make sure that will not be a problem. Make sure the new cubes and offices have enough network jacks and power outlets. You should make sure that there are not 50 outlets on one circuit too. You don't want to pop fuses on your move day. Check on the temperature of the new server room. Excess heat can really cause problems. You should also make sure that the servers are not near sources of dust. Keep them away from the shop floor if you have one.
