|
Question: Dear Mr.Andrew
I have installed a windows 2003 server as a guest operating system on a windows XP Professional machine through VMWare software application.
Can you please tell me if there is any way that I can set a Virtual network connecton between the host OS (WIN XP) and guest OS ( WIN 2K3) so that the OS's can communicate with other.
I have had this question since a long time but nobody could answer this one. I heard about this site through BBC ClickOnline programme.
Thanks a lot in anticipation of your much awaited reply.
Regards
Pattabhi
Answer: I do know that it can be done but I have not had a chance to work with vmware much yet and I coudn't tell you how exactly. As a guess I would say that all you have to do is configure both computers with IP addresses that are on the same network and then treat them as if they were 2 different computers. |
