|
Question: I have accidentally removed the Administrator security setting of a folder, the only user left is the domain users with only read and list folder content priviledge. So even the administrator of the system cannot do anything to this folder. How can I remove this folder? I have copied the contents to another place already so this can be deleted.
Seems like it's a deadlock.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Answer: It actually fairly easy to fix. There is a file attibute called ownership. Under the permissions go to advanced and then you should see the owner tab. Set the administrators as the owner. Then you can control the permisions again and give the administrator rights to it. |
