Question -
Do you know how to to reset passwords, replicate profiles, and modify preferences in Active Directory, any web sites that explain how to do this would be a major help?
Answer -
If you have admin access still you can easily reset passords. Just open active directory users and computers, and right click on the user you want to reset the password on. If you don't have the password checkout this link:rel="nofollow"mcseforum.com/forum/about16.html.
As far as profiles, you edit the user in active directory. Go to the account tab. There you will see the profile text box. Just enter the network unc path where you want the profile to be stored.
Answer: A UNC path is simply \\servername\sharename instead of mapping a drive letter. As far as screen dumps go, go to google.com, click on images and type "active directory users and computers". You should get plenty of pics to help you out. |
