|
Question: Hi Andrew,
i have installed the license pack and it shows me the amount of available licenses. it says the server is activated but only 2 people can connect to the server at any given time. after that, i get an error saying that i have "exceeded the maximum number of connections."
how do i distribute the CAL's and if it's given upon connection, then why isnt the other users being able to login?
i have them set up as remote users with permissions and everything. i can only login as an administrator.
HELP ME OR I'LL BE FIRED!! lol
Answer: Put the users in the domain admins group ,TEMPORARILY ONLY! just to test and see if they get it. This way we will know if it is a license problem or not. If it is a license issue call microsoft. They give free phone support for any licensing question. (1-800-642-7676). If the users do get in when members of the domain admins group then it is a group policy issue. Let me know and I will try to help you. |
