Question: Hi..
A strange problem has begun on my system. Win 2k pro.
I have recently set up a WAN at home. Using a Netgear router. The problem only exsists on my PC the laptop is fine (win98se)
OK the problem. IE and Opera both give me this message when I try to use them to access ANY page on the web. 'FORBIDDEN ACCESS You were denied access because: Access denied by access control list.
I have not got a clue why this is happening, and its never happened before. I can however use Mozilla Firefox fine.

Answer: It sounds like ie and opera have some kind of content restriction on them. Have you ever installed a porn blocker like netnanny? Go to tools, internet options and security under internet explorer. Try resetting it to default level. |
