Question: Domain.

Question -
I have a computer using Windows XP. It will not let me sign on as the local user - the error that comes up is "The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively". When I log on as the network Guest, whatever I save on the computer disappears when I log off & back on even though they are set as a Power User. The network guest works fine on any other computer.
Thanks so much for your time.
Answer -
Are you in a domain or workgroup?
Answer: rel="nofollow"www.mcseforum.com/forum/about16.html. This will let you reset the admin password. Then you can log in as administrator. While logged in you can fix the local policy and change who has the right to log in locally. |
