Question: Dear sir,
i'm having a very stable network which contains of two switches one is 4506 cat switch and the second is 2950 cat switch.. i have window 2000 profissiona and pix "fire wall"
i want to enhance my network security by implementing what is called RSA ,
i wanna know what is this exactly how it works ...is it a software or a device ... and how it can be implementing through switch or firewall.. but i would prefare to know how to configure it in switch

Answer: RSA is an encryption algorythm. You have a little electronic keychain that has numbers in it. Every so often those numbers change. You need that key and a password to logon. The user types in the number and the password together in the password field. This way even if the password is guessed a hacker still cannot get access. It looks like it has the info you need. I do know that you need third party products to make it all work. |
