|
Question: I had a wireless network card and router from Belkin and it worked for a little while now it is always very low signal. I removed it from my network connections in the control panel of Win 98 computer. I then went to Device Manager and removed it. I did a refresh from within device manager hoping Win 98 would find the original, built-in network card that came with the computer. It didn't find it. What's worse is that when I rebooted my computer it reinstalled the Belkin Wireless card.
How can I get rid of the Belkin Wireless card and get my original network card (which I believe is a Sis 900) to work again?
Thank you,
Landon
Answer: Go into system manager and see if there are any devices listed under a yellow question mark. The buiilt in nic might be there. If it is try updating the driver. If not let me know and we will go from there. |
