Question: Which would be the better laptop buy & brand to go for:
HP with a intel inside Celeron at $1799
Features:
-Intel Celeron Mobile 1.4GHz (what does this do?),
-256MB RAM (can this be upgraded?)
-40GB HDD
-DVD RW Drive
-14inch white LCD Display
-Built in 802.11g wireless networking (what will this achieve)
-Remote control
-Windows XP Home
Or the ACER brand at: $1499
-Intel Celeron 5.1GHz
-256MB RAM
-40GB HDD
-CD RW-DVD Combo Drive
-15.4inch Wide BV LCD Display
-Built in 802.11g wireless networking
-Microsoft XP Home.
I essentially want to buy a laptop for business use (I run a small business), I want to know which is the better option & which brand is better to go with. Would really appreciate your help with this.

Answer: I am not a fan of Celeron processors. They are slow. In general the larger the screen the higher the cost. So the bigger screen is worth more. Try outpost.com. They have pretty good deals. |
