Back again!!! There was nothing in settings on the control panel that I could remove to get the image off the screen. My daughter said when she saved it, she saved it as an active desktop. Can that be removed? If the picture of the girl was on the beach or on the bottom of my screensaver I wouldn't be bothering you about this, but it looks wierd when I change my screen saver & she's in a tree or standing on the moon with her dog. Any more suggestions????? Thanks!

If you right click the desktop(not on any icons just out on desktop) you should get a menu with an "active desktop" option. From there you should be able to turn off active desktop. Hopefully this will get rid of it. Let me know otherwise and we'll try again.

Hi Andrew. I clicked on the deskop but there was no active desktop there. Can you tell me what I need to do on the desktop. I have a small desktop on the bottom of the screen...not an icon. When I reboot the pc, the girl goes away until all the icons come back uop then she appears. Maybe i"m not clicking on desktop. Can you tell what I need to do? I'd appreciate it!!!
Answer: Ok, we can try this but it is a bit complicated. I need you to send me a picture of what your registry looks like. Then I can see if I can find this thing and tell you how to remove it. Go to start -> run and type regedit. This can be a dangerous tool if used incorrectly so becarefull when we start deleting. For now we won't be deleting. In regedit you should see a hierarchy. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then software then microsoft then windows then current version then run. With "run" highlighted go to the top left of this tool and click on "regestry". Then choose "export registry file". It will ask you to save the file. Find some place you can find it easily and name it whatever. Then email me the file as an attachment at lenciona@yahoo.com. I will see if I can find which key to delete and talk you through it.
