On the client, It could have a virus. Check for that. Also make sure that the DNS is pointing to the server. Maybe it is losing name resolution. Also try disconnecting the mapped drive and remapping it. You can also use the nbtstat command to help trouble shoot. Type nbtstat -a 192.168.1.1 where 192.168.1.1 is the IP of the server. See if it gives you the computer name. Let me know how that goes and we will go from there. |
